around Christmas 37 lbs; March 11 afternoon 32 lbs; March 24 evening 33 lbs; April 19 afternoon 33 lbs; May 6 evening 32 lbs; March '10, high fiber diet still fat but doing better... like a year later... he's lost weight, can jump up on the bed and seems really really miserable and hungry all the time! better watch my back!

this is about me…

i was born in butte, montana. we lived in an apartment above a bar and my dad always said i wouldn't sleep on tuesday nights because there was no music coming from downstairs... i grew up in a small mining town in "north central" utah. i haven't lived there for almost 40 years, but it will always be home. i now live in "north northern" utah in a place i like to call 'utah's canada' because the winters are incredibly long and cold. it was as much a culture shock for me to move 150 miles up here as it was for anyone to move here from anywhere else. it took me 32 years to finish college, but i did it. i have survived a car crash and a bout with cancer and i encourage everyone to keep up on your checkups and take charge of your own body; be smart about what is going on! my mother and my sister were not so lucky. i have a serious schzophrenic taste in music & movies, i am a font of useless information, i love football and i like all kinds of electronic crap. i am the queen of the HD DVR. i am hopelessly hooked on general hospital... i love to look at the ocean, fall is my favorite time of year. i like beer, tequila and beer & tequila. i don't drink cheap booze or buy cheap shoes. i consider myself a good friend, i have no use for liars. my nephew said he would go anywhere with me "because i can keep up and i will eat anything". i have a dog and a cat and can't imagine what i would do without them. i miss the old dog and the old cat, but their ashes share a basket in on my dresser... i believe that God put us here to be happy!
